February 2019   Newsletter

FEBRUARY SOCIAL: The Golden Angels February social will be on Friday, February 8th at noon in the St Augustine room. Lunch will be potluck. After lunch, we will be entertained by the Clark family. We will also play a fun game, so everyone should bring a wrapped white elephant gift (maybe a Christmas or birthday gift that needs re-gifting).

Just a reminder that we will not meet in March or April due to Lent.

COOKIE SUNDAY: Our next cookie Sunday is coming up on Sunday February 17th.   If you can bring some cookies or help out after the 8:15 or 11 am Mass that day, please contact Vinola Smith at 802 9799 This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

SPECIAL EVENTS: On Thursday, January 31st, the Golden Angels sponsored a Painting and Wine Party in Felician Hall. We had a full house with 30 people painting a fun snowman, drinking iced tea and wine, eating snacks, and enjoying the fellowship. Thanks to Sue and Mike Kraus for teaching us how. We plan to have another event in the spring.

Meager Meals: The Golden Angels will sponsor a meager meal on Friday, March 29th after Stations of the Cross. We will be serving vegetable and cheese lasagna, hot buttered and garlic bread and salad. If you would like to help with this, please talk to Margie Tisdel. 737 0112

BOARD MEETING:  Consider this an open invitation to anyone interested in attending the GA Board meetings.  If you have ideas or if it's a complaint about how things are being done, please join us.  We try to keep the meeting at 1 hour or less.  You may have a place on the agenda to have your say but I must be notified in advance of the meeting so I can include you on the agenda.  We meet the 3rd Monday of each month at 1:30pm in the Lamb Room.

God Bless, Margie Tisdel, GA Chairman
