MAY SOCIAL: FRIDAY, May 12 at 5:30 p.m. Church doors will be open from 4:15 to 5:25 p.m. Mr. Frank Cleary and SPN Youth Group will again treat us, the Golden Angels, to a delicious dinner. They have been doing this for a number of years. Let’s show our appreciation by signing up on the Sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex so that he will know how much food to prepare.

GUEST SPEAKER; Mr. Richard Amend from St. Ann’s Retirement, Assisted Living and Nursing Home Complex will be guest speaker. He will provide us with valuable information whether or not you intend to avail yourself of such services.

FIELD TRIP: SPN golden Angels Field Trip to Okarche, Oklahoma. Thursday, April 20th. Leave SPN at 9:00 AM with our NEW BUS DRIVER, Mrs. Donna Black.

-10:00 AM coffee and doughnuts and muffins followed by a tour of the Center of Family Love (includes Garden center and gift shop).

-11:00 AM Leave COFL for Holy Trinity Church

-11:15 AM Tour and Presentation by Guide

BOOKS ON SALE AT HOLY TRINITY – The Shepherd Who Didn’t Run – priced at $20.

-12:15 PM Lunch at the Tower Café – they have a lunch buffet for $7.85 + drink and tax. They also have a full menu – very affordable.

-1:15 PM Trip to Fr. Stanley Rother’s Grave.

-2:00 PM Head for Home – arrival about 3:00 p.m.

If you have any concerns or wish to bring something to the table please feel free to contact one of us. One may also attend the board meeting which is held on the 3rd Monday of the month at 1:00 the Lamb room.

On April 30, 2000, the day of the canonization of St. Faustina, St. John Paul ll also established Divine Mercy Sunday. He had always had a devotion to Divine Mercy, and he called that day the happiest of his life. St. Faustina, prayfor us! St. John Paul II, pray for us! ,,,,from the Catholic Digest.

TEA PARTY; The Golden Angels and the Altar Society are planning another Ladies Tea Party for Sunday, May 21. Watch for further announcements.
